Are you fluent in Italian, Spanish or Portuguese and looking for a truly unique winter experience? Join our international team in Kalix or Rovaniemi and spend the season working aboard an icebreaker on the frozen Bay of Bothnia. You’ll welcome and assist guests in both your native language and English, helping create unforgettable Arctic experiences for visitors from around the world. This is a full-time seasonal position running from 21 November 2026 until 1 April 2027, offering the opportunity to work in one of the Lapland unique environments alongside an international team.

Responsibilities

  • Host guests and make sure their cruise is enjoyable and easy to follow
  • Guide people around the ship and run the guided tours
  • Help prepare guest for the floating activity and keep guests safe and comfortable
  • Work with the rest of the crew to keep the daily operation running smoothly
  • Keep the atmosphere positive and welcoming throughout the day
  • Assist guests with viewing and purchasing photos after the floating activity

Requirements

  • Fluency in at least one of the languages: Italian, Spanish or Portuguese
  • Good English to work with the rest of the international team
  • Good physical strength and the ability to handle outdoor work
  • An outgoing personality and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
  • Good team player with practical problem solving skills
